Abstract:The New Castle County GIS Tax Map is a collection of data extracted from New Castle County's automated tax mapping system that includes representations of all geographic tax parcels in New Castle County, DE. Also included is information on incorporated areas (towns), and hydrology (i.e. streams). Data in in ARCVIEW Shape File Format using the Delaware State Plane Coordinate System NAD83 in units of feet.
Purpose:The data is primarily prepared for use as a planning and tax parcel referencing tool within GIS. For current and official information on any particular tax parcel please contact the New Castle County Department of Land Use phone - 302 395 -5550.
